Privacy

This page explains how Local Web Fix, run by Jamie Parr, handles information you share when you enquire about or use the service. It is written in plain English and is not formal legal advice.

What information is collected

When you get in touch, I may collect your name, business name, email address, optional phone number, website or social links, Google Business Profile link and details about what you would like help with.

Why it is collected

I use this information to respond to your enquiry, check whether the request fits the service, agree a scope, provide a quote, carry out agreed work and send a handover summary.

Where information may be stored

Form submissions may be stored in Netlify Forms, Zoho Mail, and Google Drive or Google Sheets if used for project notes. Payment records may be stored in Stripe and basic finance records if you pay for a service.

What I do not collect through the form

Please do not send passwords, card details, customer lists, staff data or private business information through the website form or normal email. If access is needed for agreed work, use the platform’s own collaborator, editor or manager access where possible.

If you add hello@localwebfix.co.uk to a platform as a collaborator, editor or manager, that access is only used for the agreed work and should be removed when the job is finished.

Sharing information

I do not sell your details. I only use them to respond to you and deliver the agreed service. I may need to use normal tools such as Netlify, Zoho Mail, Google Drive/Sheets or Stripe to run the service.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use non-essential analytics cookies at launch. If analytics or tracking is added later, this page will be updated to explain what is used and why.

Deleting information

You can ask me to delete your enquiry details by emailing hello@localwebfix.co.uk. I may still need to keep basic payment or project records where required for accounting or record-keeping.
