Scope & terms
Local Web Fix is for small fixed-scope tidy-ups: menus or service lists, contact links, opening hours, Google profile basics, mobile clarity and simple enquiry paths. The aim is practical improvement, not a full agency project, with clear limits around access, passwords and risky changes.
Works with your current setup
You do not need a new website to start. I can check Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, GoDaddy or similar sites, Google Business Profiles, Facebook/Instagram pages, booking/menu/order/quote links, or older sites managed by someone else.
If another provider controls the website, I can give you clear notes to pass to them instead of trying to take over.
What you get back
- Plain-English notes on what customers can see
- Before/after screenshots for paid fixes
- A short handover explaining what changed
- Anything I could not safely change
- One sensible next-step suggestion
Free Quick Check
A short look at your website, Google listing or social page with up to 3 plain-English notes. No login is needed and there is no obligation to continue.
£50 Starter Fix
Best for one obvious issue. Usually includes a mini audit, 1–2 small agreed fixes, a mobile/contact/menu/service-list/hour check, before/after screenshots and a short handover note. This is intended as a small tidy-up, not open-ended work.
£100 Local Fix-Up
Best for a fuller practical tidy-up. Usually includes a 10-point audit, up to 4 small agreed fixes, mobile/contact/menu/service-list/opening-hours review, Google profile basics review and a short handover summary.
£150 Full Fix-Up Plus
Best when the page or contact flow needs more attention. Includes the Local Fix-Up items, deeper homepage/contact/menu clean-up, simple enquiry form setup if suitable, stronger Google improvement notes and one follow-up check within 7 days.
What is not included
- Guaranteed Google rankings, sales, enquiries or phone calls
- Full website rebuilds or large redesigns
- Ongoing SEO campaigns, paid ads or social media management
- Online ordering, payment systems, e-commerce or complex booking systems
- Logo design, brand identity, legal policy writing or copywriting beyond small wording improvements
- Hacked website repair, DNS/email migrations, custom software or app development
Payment
Payment is taken after the scope is agreed and before work starts. Card payment links or bank transfer details are sent directly after confirmation. Please do not pay for a package until I have confirmed it is suitable for your request. If a payment is made by mistake, email hello@localwebfix.co.uk as soon as possible.
Access and passwords
You do not need to send passwords for the free check. I start by looking at the public version of your website, Google listing or social page.
If a fix needs access, I will ask you to add hello@localwebfix.co.uk through the platform’s own permissions where possible, such as a website collaborator, editor or Google Business Profile manager. Please do not send passwords by form, email, Instagram, Facebook or text.
You stay in control of your accounts and can remove my access after the work is finished. If something looks risky, managed by another provider or outside my skill level, I will say so before touching it.
Revisions and changes
The agreed scope covers the specific fixes confirmed before work starts. Extra work can be quoted separately. I will not add extra charges without telling you first.
Honesty about limits
If something is outside my skill level, unsafe to change or better handled by your existing website provider, I will say so. I would rather turn work down than break something or promise results I cannot guarantee.
